Graduate students in the USA Pacific Northwest (PNW) region are invited to apply for the March 25th ComSciCon-PNW 2026 communicating science workshop in Portland, OR! Apply here by January 31.
This unique professional development experience will provide attendees with a fantastic opportunity to meet young leaders in the communication of research from across the PNW community, learn from and interact with a remarkable group of invited experts, and produce an original work communicating scholarly research to a new audience.
This year, accepted students will also have the option to attend the ScienceTalk 2026 from March 26-27 in Portland, OR. Registration for SciTalk and membership to the Association of Science Communicators will be offered for free, and travel/lodging support will extend through the 27th for attendees who plan to attend both ComSciCon-PNW and SciTalk pending funding availability.
Application, registration, and attendance to the ComSciCon-PNW workshop is free of charge for accepted applicants.
Funding for ComSciCon-PNW is limited, so workshop attendance will be prioritized for students from institutions that have provided sponsorship funding.
