Civic Science Fellows are cross-disciplinary thinkers and bridge builders who help connect scientific knowledge with public decision-making and community needs. Fellows are embedded in host organizations for 18 months to co-create and pilot projects that advance civic science practice.

The Department of Biology at Syracuse University invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor to teach Biology and Biochemistry undergraduate level classes, starting in fall 2026. This position is initially a three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. Syracuse University has a promotion structure for Teaching Professors, with Associate Teaching Professors and Full Teaching professors being eligible for renewable contracts of up to five years.
