Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a full-time visiting (non tenure-track) position for the 2022/23 academic year. Teaching will include courses in introductory (general) chemistry with possible other courses depending on the candidate's specific expertise, prior teaching experience, and departmental need. The teaching load will be three lecture courses each semester, where two laboratory sections are equivalent to a lecture course. While not a requirement, opportunities and support are available for the successful candidate to mentor students on research projects.

Postdoctoral Research Associate - Bridge to Faculty in Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Bridge to the Faculty Postdoctoral Fellows program seeks to enhance diversity on the permanent faculty level by encouraging the recruitment, retention, and promotion of outstanding scholars, with an emphasis on attracting individuals from groups that have been underrepresented in science. The determined goal of this fellowship is to recruit, mentor, and support the transition of an outstanding candidate from a postdoctoral assignment to a research active, tenure-track faculty position.

Open Rank Professor of Pharmacology, Tenured/Tenure-Track

The Department of Pharmacology in the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia invites applications for two open rank tenured/tenure-track faculty positions. We are interested in candidates applying multiscale cutting-edge approaches to study the systems neurobiology of interoceptive physiology and brain-body interactions: how an organism senses, integrates, and regulates its internal state. Successful candidates will join a highly collaborative faculty and outstanding research department with strength in this area.
