The Physics Department at the University of California, Berkeley is conducting an open search to fill a tenure-track faculty position for an Assistant Professor in Soft Condensed Matter with an expected start date of July 1, 2021. This position is open to all sub-fields of soft condensed matter, broadly defined, including but not limited to biological soft condensed matter physics, nonbiological soft condensed matter physics, and related areas of nonlinear physics.

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (known as Fermilab) seeks highly qualified candidates for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position for the Proton Improvement Plan-II (PIP-II) project. The candidate will focus on numerical studies of the beam dynamics and collective effects in Fermilab Accelerators to determine beam intensity limitations in the PIP-II era.
