The Bioengineering Department is currently home to 16 core faculty members. Our core faculty includes 4 AIMBE fellows, 2 AAAS fellows, 1 BMES fellow, 1 IEEE fellow, 1 SPIE fellow and 1 ISMRM fellow. Our research focuses on 5 cutting-edge and research areas: biomaterials/regenerative medicine, biomedical imaging, computational bioengineering, molecular and cellular bioengineering, and neuroengineering.
