The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the New York University (NYU) Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a full time, non-tenured, renewable faculty position in Biochemistry/Bioinformatics with a start date of September 2020.

An Industry Professor's primary roles are teaching, mentoring and educational innovation, and the position may also entail some administrative work and outreach. The department offers BS degrees in Biomolecular Science and in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, MS degrees in Chemical Engineering, in Biotechnology and in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship, and a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering.
We invite applicants for classroom and laboratory teaching in all areas of biochemistry, as well as subjects such as, for example, Bioinformatics-related courses, Protein Engineering, and/or Genetic Engineering to undergraduate and graduate students at Tandon. You should be an excellent teacher. You should have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a related discipline and a record of industrial/postdoctoral experience and/or teaching in these areas.
