Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship

Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship beginning in July 2021. This award is named in honor of the late Marilyn Yarbrough, Kenyon parent and trustee. A legal scholar and university administrator who was a former editor of the Black Law Journal and a member of the Pulitzer Prize Board, Marilyn Yarbrough often addressed gender and racial discrimination in her scholarship and teaching.

The Center for Data Science (CDS) and the Colton Center at New York University (NYU) invite an application for a joint Faculty Fellow position to lead complex analysis projects in the field of autoimmune disease, developing and applying methods in data science such as machine learning to understand the underlying biology of autoimmunity and inflammation.

Hellman Science and Technology Policy Fellowship

Hellman Fellows work with senior scientists and policy experts on critical national and international policy issues related to science, engineering, and technology. Hellman Fellows contribute to new and ongoing projects under the Academy’s Initiative for Science, Engineering, and Technology. The studies explore how science and technology are evolving, how to help the public understand those changes, and how society can better adapt to those changes.

Postdoctoral Training Program in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research

The Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is recruiting postdoctoral trainees for its NICHD-funded Postdoctoral Training Program in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research. Appointments will be for 2 years beginning in the summer of 2021. The program provides multidisciplinary training with an emphasis on social affective processes, communication, family processes, epidemiology, genetics, and biobehavioral research on intellectual and developmental disabilities.
