Hellman Fellows work with senior scientists and policy experts on critical national and international policy issues related to science, engineering, and technology. Hellman Fellows contribute to new and ongoing projects under the Academy’s Initiative for Science, Engineering, and Technology. The studies explore how science and technology are evolving, how to help the public understand those changes, and how society can better adapt to those changes.

The Department of Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry (mbb.yale.edu) at Yale University invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. The Postdoctoral Fellowships for Academic Diversity are competitive programs intended to increase the diversity of the academic research community at the University of Pennsylvania and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

The Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics (IGPP) at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego, has openings starting in 2021 for up to two postdoctoral Green Scholars. Applicants must have had their PhD awarded in or after 2016, but before the start of their appointment.

The Physics Department at the University of California, Berkeley is conducting an open search to fill a tenure-track faculty position for an Assistant Professor in Particle Theory with an expected start date of July 1, 2021. Applications are welcomed from researchers in core areas of particle theory (formal theory and phenomenology), and also in emerging areas of particle theory, such as connections to astrophysics, cosmology, nuclear physics, and new instrumentations.
