The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) is the operational home of the Hubble Space Telescope, the new James Webb Space Telescope, and the future Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, along with ever-growing data archives and public outreach. Our world-class astronomical research center is based on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus in Baltimore, MD. This position can support hybrid work. The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) is collaborating with The Brinson Foundation to support the Brinson Prize Fellowship program. The fellowships are awarded to early-career astrophysicists and cosmologists who are committed to chasing bold ideas with creative, nimble and innovative research.

POSITION SUMMARY

Applications are invited for postdoctoral research positions as Flatiron Research Fellows (FRF) at the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA). The CCA offers FRFs the opportunity for independent research in areas that have strong synergy with the CCA or other centers at the Flatiron Institute.

The Department of Physics at Harvard University seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in experimental/theoretical physics. The areas of interest include: condensed matter theory; high energy experiment; precision measurement fundamental physics; and atomic, molecular, and optical physics experiment including quantum optics and quantum information. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2023.
