Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship

Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship beginning in July 2024. This award is named in honor of the late Marilyn Yarbrough, Kenyon's parent, and trustee. A legal scholar and university administrator who was a former editor of the Black Law Journal and a member of the Pulitzer Prize Board, Marilyn Yarbrough often addressed gender and racial discrimination in her scholarship and teaching.

Assistant Professor in Algebra/Number Theory

The Department of Mathematics at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, with initial appointment as early as July 1, 2024. We seek applicants with expertise in algebra/number theory, broadly defined. We are especially interested in qualified candidates who can strengthen or build connections among our research areas, which include applied mathematics, combinatorics and discrete mathematics, functional analysis, geometry, and topology.
