The Roh-Johnson laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry is interested in fundamental aspects of cancer cell migration and proliferation, and uses a combination of cell culture and animal models (zebrafish and mouse) to understand how the microenvironment dictates cancer cell behavior. Current projects include macrophage-dependent roles in cancer, and the in vivo regulation and evolution of cell-matrix interactions.
