The W.M. Keck Science Department of Claremont McKenna College, Pitzer College, and Scripps College invites applications for a full-time Interdisciplinary Lab Coordinator, to begin early-mid August, 2021. The Department of Chemistry at Colgate University invites applications for at least two, one-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions beginning in the fall semester of 2021. Applications are invited from any area of chemistry, with expertise in organic chemistry preferred for one position. Completion of Ph.D. is expected prior to the date of hire. The successful candidate will teach an annual five-course load with contributions to the introductory level chemistry curriculum and the possibility of upper level courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.

Position description: Dr. Leslie Caromile has partnered with physician scientists in the Division of Urology at University of Connecticut Health Center to advance our understanding and improve diagnosis of individuals with aggressive prostate cancer. The Caromile laboratory is seeking a highly-motivated postdoctoral candidate committed to a translational project that examines the molecular underpinnings of prostate cancer health disparities.
The Department of Chemistry at Lafayette College is hiring for a full-time, tenure track assistant professor position, starting July 2021. We seek an organic chemist who will complement our current expertise with shared teaching duties primarily in our organic chemistry sequence. The individual will also contribute to courses in introductory chemistry and the Common Course of Study. The teaching load is 2/2 in the first year, and 3/2 thereafter.
