Emory University School of Medicine invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology. Beginning immediately, we seek investigators who will develop innovative and vigorous research programs in the broad areas of pharmacology, drug metabolism and transport, toxicology, chemical biology, or medicinal chemistry as applied to human diseases such as, but not limited to cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
The well funded Blind lab at Vanderbilt University has several open postdoc positions to study how 2nd messenger signaling molecules alter the structure of transcription factors, and how those same signaling molecules regulate chromatin biology using functional genomics.
Position Summary: This is a 12-month, fixed-term (non-tenure track) position with an expected start date in August 2022. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) at Michigan State University (MSU) is seeking an innovative and engaging educator to implement the online instruction of our 200-level and 400-level comprehensive biochemistry courses for non-majors that are offered in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
This postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Professors Patrick A Limbach and Bala Addepalli will be responsible for leading research activities focused on the identification and characterization of modified nucleosides in ribonucleic acid (RNA). The individual will work collaboratively on a project that involves technique developments using mass spectrometry to elucidate the global tRNA modification profile in mammalian cells are also expected in the project.
