Instructor in Biology Laboratories

The Wellesley College Department of Biological Sciences seeks a full-time instructor to teach undergraduate biology laboratories at all levels of the curriculum. Wellesley College is a diverse community: 52 percent of the class of 2023 identify as students of color; students come from all 50 states and 87 countries; 18% identify as first-generation college students; and almost 60% of our students receive financial aid.

Assistant Teaching Professor of Biology

The Department of Biology of Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure position to begin in August 2021 for an initial appointment of three years. This is an instructional position with full-time responsibilities primarily over the academic year (August to May), with possibility for additional summer teaching or participation in educational research activities for additional compensation.

Joint Faculty and Research Scientist Position in Computational Neuroscience

The Center for Neural Science (www.cns.nyu.edu) at New York University (NYU), jointly with the Center for Computational Neuroscience (CCN) at the Flatiron Institute of the Simons Foundation, invites applications for an open rank joint position, with a preference for junior or mid-career candidates. We seek exceptional candidates that use computational frameworks and methods to develop concepts, models, and tools for understanding brain function.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Cancer Cell Biology

The University of Utah has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow interested in working in the field of cancer cell biology in a thriving and diverse laboratory environment. The Roh-Johnson laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry is interested in fundamental aspects of cancer cell migration and proliferation, and uses a combination of cell culture and animal models (zebrafish and mouse) to understand how the microenvironment dictates cancer cell behavior. Current projects include macrophage-dependent roles in cancer, and the in vivo regulation and evolution of cell-matrix interactions.
