What Is ASSET?

Addiction Scientists Strengthened through Information Technology Solutions Education and Training (ASSET) is a substance use research training and education program focused exclusively on supporting Black and/or Latinx junior faculty.

ASSET provides research knowledge, skills, and mentored career development training to build faculty confidence and resilience to become independent scientists and leaders in substance use research.

Assistant Professor in Mosquito Population Biologist/Ecologist

The Department of Entomology at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) invites applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor to develop innovative, field-oriented, research programs on the population dynamics and community ecology of mosquitoes. This is a 9 month, tenure-track position. The position will be available July 1, 2022. Research should focus on mosquito population biology and ecology, and include studying aquatic habitats in urban, agricultural and natural areas.
