Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Urban History

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP) and the History Section of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (SHASS) have shared a faculty position in the area of urban history for more than a half century. We jointly seek to appoint a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in the field of United States urban history since 1800, effective July 1, 2020. Scholars with interdisciplinary or comparative expertise are welcome to apply.
