The Cellas Hayes Laboratory is hiring for a Research Scientist I in Translational Neuroepidemiology at the Sanders Brown Center on Aging and the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Kentucky.
The lab investigates the biological, vascular, and social determinants of brain aging and Alzheimer's disease and related dementias using large-scale, deeply phenotyped cohort studies. We are seeking a motivated early-career scientist interested in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of epidemiology, biostatistics, neuroscience, and aging.
Ideal candidates will have experience or interest in:
- Longitudinal data analysis
- Biostatistics and epidemiology
- Plasma biomarkers and multi-omics
- Social determinants of health
- Large cohort studies
- Reproducible research workflows in R (Python experience is a plus)
