Advice for a competitive Stadtman (faculty) job application by NIH Asst. Director Roland Owens. Pay particular attention to the advice on research and vision statements. Also, only the first part (approximately 20 min) is relevant to Ph.D. applicants (versus the remainder of the seminar for clinician [M.D.-like] applicants).
