The Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Science at New York University is searching to hire up to three new faculty members in Cognitive Neuroscience. One search will be open rank and up to two will be at the tenure-track assistant professor level. The appointments are expected to begin September 1, 2020, pending budgetary and administrative approval.

The Population Studies and Training Center (PSTC) at Brown University is currently recruiting one or two postdoctoral fellows to start on or around July 1, 2019. The initial term of appointment is one year, but reappointment for a second year is expected, subject to good performance.
We seek a psychologist with strong training in neuroscience who has an active program of research. Research areas could include human cognitive neuroscience or animal electrophysiology. The teaching load is 5 courses (or 4 lab courses) per year divided over 2 semesters. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach an intermediate-level neuroscience course, such as sensation and perception or animal behavior. Candidates will also be expected to regularly teach research methods and statistics, and an upper-level seminar in an area of interest.
We seek a psychologist whose research area relates to diversity, broadly defined. Areas could include, but are not limited to, culture, gender, race and ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Candidates will be expected to teach research methods and statistics, general psychology, and courses in the candidate's area of expertise, both survey and advanced. A PhD is required, and teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must be committed to exemplary teaching and maintaining a productive program of research.
