The History Department at the University of Houston seeks to appoint a colleague for a tenure-track position as an assistant professor specializing in colonial Mexican history. Teaching responsibilities include the survey, upper division and graduate courses in Colonial Latin American History. The teaching load is two courses per semester.

The History Department at the University of Houston invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in twentieth century American urban history. Although all research areas will be seriously considered, candidates who specialize in environmental history are especially encouraged to apply. This position will enhance existing departmental strengths in public history. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Center for Public History through their scholarship and teaching.

The Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University invites applications for the position of language lecturer in Modern Hebrew. The appointment will begin September 1, 2019, subject to budgetary and administrative approval. The initial appointment will be for three years, with a possibility for renewal.

The Philosophy Department at Colgate University invites applications for a tenure stream position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning fall semester 2019. AOS: MetaEthics. AOC: Open. Completion of the Ph.D. in philosophy is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire. All Colgate faculty are expected to participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum.

Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for the Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship beginning in July 2019. The program is for scholars in the final stages of their doctoral work who need only to finish the dissertation to complete requirements for the Ph.D.
