The Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry at Brown University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Atwood/Haley Laboratory of Molecular Virology. This is an NIH funded position to characterize how an endemic human polyomavirus gains access to the central nervous system to cause progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy, a fatal demyelinating disease. The preferred candidate would have a Ph.D.
The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the laboratory of Professor Marc Tatar. The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, or related field. The candidate will lead research on how insulin signaling and metabolism interact to regulate aging using Drosophila as a model system. Previous postdoctoral experience is not required but is welcome.
