Gastrointestinal Physiologist

The School of Animal Sciences is searching for an Assistant Professor of Gastrointestinal Physiology. This is a tenure-track, 9-month appointment with responsibilities in research (70%) and teaching (30%). The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in gastrointestinal and digestive physiology, intestinal microbiology, and/or gut immunobiology as evidenced by a strong publication and funding record.

Visiting Assistant Professor in Bio-Organic Chemistry

The Chemistry Department at Davidson College invites applications for a two-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor with expertise in organic and biological chemistry, to begin on July 1 2023. Duties may include teaching lecture and laboratory classes in general, organic and biochemistry. The total teaching load is five courses per year, including labs. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or expect to have earned a Ph.D. by the start of employment.

The Department of Biology invites applications for a one-year full time Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology, beginning August 1, 2023. Ph.D. is required by the start date. The department would be interested in a wide-range of candidates who specialize in marine science and marine biology at the system, ecosystem, or population-level.
