Announcing Wellness for PhDs Speaker Danielle Williams
We are thrilled to welcome Danielle Williams to lead a workshop on strategies to prioritize wellness in an academic setting. Ms. Williams will speak at our 2024 DiverseScholar Postdoctoral Conference (#DivSch24; September 6-7). Registration for PhD trainees is invitation-only for travel awardees & select partners so please check your email in-box. Learn more about Ms. Williams from her Infinite Graditude website. She learned that prioritizing her mental health and self-care is integral to success as a graduate student, but there were few resources for students to learn how. As a result, in 2022, she authored a self-help mindfulness journal with exercises specifically tailored toward the doctoral student experience.
