Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cancer Prevention and Control

Public Health Sciences

The Division of Public Health Sciences in the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Siteman Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, are seeking applications for Postdoctoral Fellowships.

A strong mentoring and career development program is in place in the Division of Public Health Sciences with a track record of successfully placing trainees. The Division conducts world-leading research, education and outreach to prevent cancer and other diseases, promote population health, and improve quality and access to health care in Missouri and beyond. Support is available for up to 3 years, with an annual stipend starting at $50,050 (depending on experience).

Applications in the following areas will be prioritized:

  • Shared Decision Making
  • Implementation Science
  • Cancer Disparities
  • Community-based Cancer Prevention and Control

However, all applications will be considered. Applications are considered on a rolling basis.

Eligibility: PhD, DrPH, MD, or other doctoral degree in a public health related discipline, or a doctoral degree in another discipline with an interest in transitioning to public health research. Applicants are limited to United States citizens, non-citizen nationals, or must be lawfully admitted for permanent residence and possess an Alien Registration Receipt Card.
