Biomedical Informatics

The Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) invites applications for postdoctoral positions to conduct research in genomics, data acquisition, privacy, structuring, analysis, data-driven modeling, decision support, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination at the point of care. Applicants must have a PhD in computer science, data science, informatics, statistics, or related field. Experience with privacy technology, data linkage and machine learning/statistical learning strongly preferred.

DBMI also invites applications for fellowship training. Support for the program comes from the National Library of Medicine (NLM). The fellowship package includes a stipend, health insurance, conference travel, tuition and fees, and auditing of courses.
