The Department of Technology Management at the New York University (NYU) Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a full time, non-tenured, renewable faculty position at the level of Industry Faculty (Open Rank) with a start date of September 1, 2020.

An Industry Faculty's primary roles are teaching, mentoring, educational innovation, and curriculum development. The department offers BS degrees in Business Technology Management (BTM), MS degrees in the Management of Technology, and, jointly with the Department of Technology, Culture, and Society, PhD degrees in Technology, Culture, and Society.
You should have experience in academic curriculum development, and bring relevant industry experience into the classroom. The ideal candidate should have strong ties to industry and be able to teach the following subjects at the graduate and undergraduate level:
- Capstone (a project-oriented course where students showcase what they have learned throughout their studies at NYU)
- Innovation Management
- Managing Technological Change
- Entrepreneurship for Technology Companies
- Technology Strategy
- Operations Management
- Business Analytics
You should be an excellent teacher. You should have a Ph.D. or terminal degree in a relevant discipline.
