Essential Functions:

The Chancellor and Board of Trustees of State Center Community College District (SCCCD) are seeking a president for Clovis Community College (CCC). The president will provide unifying and participatory leadership to a dynamic, complex, and diverse college. The president will build upon the college's strong legacy of achievement and leadership in the community.The president will be a student-focused, dynamic, kind and collaborative leader who is committed to advancing student access, equity, and success for our diverse student body and will lead the college in the development and implementation of new programs that address the unique workforce needs of the community. The president will expand existing relationships with community businesses, organizations and build upon strong partnerships with educational institutions to advance the economic and social mobility of our students.The president will collaborate with their dedicated team of professionals to ensure that the college maintains its strong integration of student equity and success, while working towards achieving Clovis Community College's mission and strategic goals. The President is responsible and accountable for all college operations, fiscal stewardship, strategic enrollment management and for providing steadfast leadership to the college's faculty, classified professionals and administrators.Clovis Community College is known for its innovative spirit, positive climate, high transfer rates, and dedication to closing equity gaps. The faculty, staff, and leadership are creative, caring, collegial, and collaborative and focused on student success. The Chancellor and Board of Trustees are seeking a leader who will facilitate and nurture this climate, as the campus grows and evolves.

Minimum Qualifications:

All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practices;

  • Earned master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution;
  • Five (5) years of successful senior-level administrative experience in progressively responsible, reasonably related executive positions.

Salary and Benefits:

State Center Community College District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, sick leave, vacation benefits and the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) or Public Employee Retirement System (CalPERS). Salary and other benefits are competitive. Starting annual salary is $217,128 – $235,026, dependent upon experience and qualifications. The successful candidate should be available for service no later than January 3, 2023.
