The Liberal Studies Department in the College of Science and Mathematics at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo is seeking to fill two full-time, academic year, tenure-track positions, beginning September 10, 2020; one position is for a Science Specialist and the other position is for Social Foundations of Education. The mission of the Liberal Studies undergraduate degree is to provide a solid preparation in science, mathematics, language arts, social sciences, art, physical education/health, and human development for future elementary and middle school teachers. Appointment at the Assistant Professor rank is anticipated; higher ranks will be considered. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
