Northwestern University: Faculty Position in Urology

The Department of Urology of Northwestern University is searching for a full-time faculty member at the tenure-track rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. We are particularly interested in investigators focused on basic/translational research in prostate cancer. The qualified applicant will be a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. prepared for leadership in the prostate cancer research field with an active, extramurally funded program. Rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with experience.

The new faculty member will join a department with thriving basic research on the mechanisms and therapy of prostate carcinogenesis, angiogenesis in urologic neoplasia, acute and chronic bladder inflammation, erectile dysfunction, and penile development. Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine offers a dynamic and collaborative scientific environment supported by multiple core facilities and robust training programs.

Start date is expected to be on or around 9/1/2017. Position will remain open until filled.
