Medical University of South Carolina: Postdoctoral Position in Immunology

A Postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Xue-Zhong Yu, in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at Medical University of South Carolina. The successful applicant is expected to have extensive research background in immunology and experience in working with murine models, flow cytometry and gene manipulations. The postdoc will participate in overall experimental design and carry out proposed studies. He or she will also be responsible for manuscript writing and submission as well as data presentation in scientific meetings. Underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply. Given possible support by a NIH T32 award, eligible applicants must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent and be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or permanent resident of the United States (i.e., possess a currently valid Permanent Resident Card or other legal verification of such status).
