Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center: Assistant/Associate Member Faculty Position in Solid Tumor Oncology Research

The Division of Human Biology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center invites applications from laboratory-based scientists working in the area of solid tumor research. Applicants will be considered at the rank of Assistant or Associate Faculty member, and we are seeking applicants who share our goals to advance an understanding of the biological basis of cancer, and to translate findings to the clinic. We will consider PhD, MD/PhD, or MD scientists working in areas that include, but are not limited to: the microenvironment, metastasis, genomics/system biology, and the biology of therapeutic response.


The successful candidate will enter a dynamic research environment with opportunities to collaborate with basic and clinical researchers across diverse disciplines. Opportunities exist for joint and/or affiliate appointment in the Fred Hutch Divisions of Clinical Research, Basic Sciences, Public Health Sciences or Vaccine and Infectious Disease, as well the University of Washington. Applicants will also be eligible for membership in the Fred Hutchinson-based Seattle Translational Tumor Research (STTR) program, a multidisciplinary consortium of more than 500 faculty from Fred Hutch, the University of Washington, and Seattle Children’s, that work collaboratively on all aspects of solid tumor basic, translational, and clinical research.
