SCSU Environmental & Molecular Postdoc Position
Postdoctoral Position (2-year grant-funded position) at
South Carolina State University
The Department of Biological & Physical Sciences of South Carolina State University invites applications for a non-tenure track position as a Research Associate to conduct environmental/molecular research. This position will require mentoring of undergraduates in environmental remediation research in collaboration with Savannah River National Lab (SRNL). The successful applicant must be a US citizen and have a Ph.D. in environmental science/molecular biology with experience with environmental contaminants (particularly polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons [PAHs]), advanced molecular techniques, and analyzing environmental samples. Good communication, writing, and student mentoring skills are essential. Position will be located at S.C. State University and may require visits to the SRNL.
