High Point University: Basic Pharmaceutical Science Asst/Assoc Professor

The Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy at High Point University in High Point, NC invites applications for four tenure-track faculty positions in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, or Medicinal-Chemistry at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (commensurate with experience) in the Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences. The School of Pharmacy utilizes a unique integrated curriculum that intercalates basic science and clinical applications in all courses using a team-teaching approach. The School seeks to recruit highly qualified and motivated individuals with a strong commitment to education and research. The Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences is strongly research-oriented with faculty from diverse scientific disciplines and backgrounds who share a common interest in discovering, developing and optimizing drug therapies.

The Department seeks to continue to grow and develop by hiring applicants with expertise in the general areas of molecular pharmacology, immunopharmacology and cardiovascular pharmacology with preference in the areas of substance use disorders, pain, and diabetes.
