University of Connecticut: Assistant Professor in Molecular and Cellular Physiology and/or Neurobiology

The Department of Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut, Storrs invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. We encourage applications from individuals committed to establishing an independent research program studying fundamentally important questions in any area of physiology and/or neurobiology at the molecular and cellular level. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent, post-doctoral research experience, and a strong record of peer-reviewed publication. Candidates should be committed to teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to promoting diversity through their research and teaching programs. The successful candidate will receive a competitive start-up package to build a research program in a research-intensive and collegial environment. The University of Connecticut is in the midst of a period of growth supported by both private and public investments including Next Generation Connecticut, and Bioscience Connecticut. World class research support facilities and instrumentation are available through the Center for Open Research Resources and Equipment (COR2E).
