The Department of Finance and Risk Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a tenured or tenure track position, to start on July 1, 2019. We are looking to hire in all areas of financial engineering, with particular emphasis on data science and/or artificial intelligence/machine learning. You should have a Ph.D. degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline. We seek individuals who have or have the potential to develop a strong record of scholarship, leadership, curricular innovation, and entrepreneurship. You should demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring. Experience as a professional in financial markets is a plus.
