The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for a tenure track position in support of a a core area of mechanical engineering and our biomechanical and biosystems thrust, with a start date of September 1, 2019. The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department invites applications from candidates in all areas of mechanical engineering, with particular emphasis on Biomechanical and Biosystems applications. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering, bioengineering or a closely related discipline. A record of scholarship, leadership, curricular innovation, entrepreneurship, and a strong potential for research funding are desired. Candidates must demonstrate or show potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring.
